Finishing Salomon Xtrail Run

Getting ready and excited on our first Salomon trail run. We cannot hide our excitement but to take picture of our running kit or the race kit that we claimed at Robinsons Place Bacolod City. The kit includes Salomon singlet, bib number, salomon arm pouch, sticker and energy bar for energy booster.

A man made lake will  welcome you inside the area. A wide ranch located at the upper side of Bacolod City. Granada,Alangilan Road in the CIty of Smile or you can simply reach it through this telephone number

On the other side of the Ranch you can see an area for horse back riding, horse viewing.

Here we are one of the early bird at the venue of the 2013 Salomon Xtrail Run Bacolod Leg. We feel a bit nervous yet excited because of the fact that its our very first time to join a trail run.



SO this time since its our first time for a trail run we opted to register for a 6k category trail run. It's me and Claire my soon to be better half.

The host just announced that all trail runners should be in the starting area for a short briefing final instruction and of course synchronized warm up.

Trail runners are all now in the starting line waiting for the RD to signal the start of the run.. While waiting for the start got to have a chance to meet and greet trail runners  from other island and also with nearby towns and city they all have warm smile.

After a few minutes the gun start so we start, our trail run adventure. Let me describe the trail, It was of course trail run so expect to run along the trail of the Bantug Lake ranch area. You got the chance to explore the ranch passing through the lakes, crossing the rivers and streams and passing through the pocket forest in the area.

After 1 hr and 50 minutes we finish strong our first trail run together.
Still we managed to wear a smile.. Yahoo! Thank you Lord for the opportunity and strength.
