One Cloudless Saturday,me and my girlfriend Claire decided to have a quick visit of the magnificent Mag-Aso Falls in our neighboring city. It's located in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental to be specific its located at Sitio Dug-anon, Barangay Oringao, The Mag-Aso Leisure Camp. One of the many mountain resorts in the Negros Island.

Going here you need to ride if your starting point is Mabinay its about 30km away. From Crossing Oringao you have to accent to the mountain part of the area, the route will be more adventure. You will see the white cliff ahead, cross some rivers  and eventually after less than an hour of up and down in the mountain you will arrived at Mag-Aso Falls.

The Iconic Stone wall with Mag-Aso Falls signage welcomes every guest. Perhaps, every guest arrived will definitely  have photo opp before going down to the resort.

Upon arrival at the gate you will be collected a minimal amount of 50 pesos for the entrance fee since its operated and manage by the City Government of Kabankalan and of course all of there employees are the local folks living around the area for livelihood.

The resort can also accommodate guest planning to stay overnight for only 1000 pesos more or less. They also have Nipa Hut for day used surrounded the man-made swimming pool for 200 pesos you now have your table and chairs.

Just for advice, just bring your own food supply, they don't have enough food choices to cater your needs, rest assured they have soft and hard drinks and some chips but you can buy there local food recipe and delicacies to support also there small way of living.

The cool wind smoothly touches your skin as you reached the viewing deck of the waterfalls.

You can also swim in the mini lagoon with caution for it has a strong current, be sure you know how to swim or you can just play and climb the huge log that connects to the other side.
